Home Watch Services
Rate: $50.00 per month
Includes weekly visits checking the exterior and interior of your home.
Weekly:
- Check all window, door, and slider locks
- Check for any broken windows
- Check for mold or mildew
- Check for any insects or pests
- Operational heat and air conditioning settings
- Check if power is on in home
- Check that refrigerator and freezer is operating
- Check irrigation system settings and is operational
- Removal of Newspapers, phone books, and solicitation material from front of home
- Check for any water leaks
- Check for any weather or storm damage
- Check operation of smoke and carbon monoxide detectors
- Check hot water settings
Monthly:
- Check and change air conditioner filters
- Open and close garage doors
- Run all faucets and flush toilets
- Clear entry of debris, bugs, etc.
- Sweep front entrance
- Treat any weeds in drive or walkways
By Request:
- Start stored automobile
- Take golf cart for a test ride. Charge electric cart when required
Rental Services
Rate $50 per month
We can watch your home while it is being rented. We can provide the basic services while the renter is in your home, and arrange to have your home cleaned following each rental. The service is available only if we are watching your home while it is unoccupied.
Shipping Program
As a convenience to our clients, we offer the following shipping program:
While you are away from The Villages, we will accept packages (no more than 50 pounds) at our home address for delivery to your home. The fee for this service is $10 per package.
We are not responsible for any damage or replacement of items caused by the delivery service. We will make you aware by phone or email if any obvious damage has occurred.
Additional No Charge Services
If an urgent problem does occur we will make you aware of it immediately.
Prior to your return, with a minimum of one week notice, we will do the following to prepare the home for your arrival.
- Turn water on
- Turn hot water tank on
- Adjust thermostat to normal settings
- Insure toilets are clean
- Turn on or plug in all essential electrical items
- Put electric golf cart on charge
- Turn ice maker on
- Set all clocks
